WelcomeMy intention behind OpenAlcohol.com is to share some ideas and draw some lines connecting communities that I feel are complimentary. OpenAlcohol will host a platform to collectively develop an open source, working, as well as, business model for something I find incredibly exciting and important. I will do my best to keep the information concise. I will refrain from self indulgent ranting (the ranting I will leave for my blog urbanethanol.com, where I will chronicle my development process). I will attempt to make clear distinctions between undisputed referenceable fact and my opinion. Who, what, when, where and why? I will be sticking to the what and the how for the most part, as these are the critical discussions. The who is us, the when is now, and the why will be obvious to most. I will ,however, share a little “why” it is that I am starting this site on the About page. Up to this point of my introduction I have remained a little vague as to what exactly I am talking about. This is because I would rather Mr. Blume explain some things himself. This lecture is fascinating and the basis for most of what this site will revolve around.
